Hoop Path in beautiful LA Feb 7th, 8th, & 9th!!!

Howdy friends!

Baxter & I are headin' on back to one of the most delicious hoop spots in the nation in less than a month! We'll be holding a tripartite workshop--three slots of three full hours each. This is a great opportunity for hoop experts and professionals to deepen your practice, let go and play with a different approach, and our shops are also ideal for the beginning hooper to work on the essential fundamentals of establishing a satisfying relationship with your hoop.

Thanks to the wonderful ladies of FireGroove, we'll be at Dance Studio # 1 at 2037 Granville Avenue in west LA. Workshop times are as follows:

Sat, Feb 7th - 2 - 5pm
Sun, Feb 8th - 2:30 - 5:30pm
Mon, Feb 9th - 7 - 10pm

You may attend Friday & Saturday only, or Friday, Saturday and Sunday as a package. We have tons of information and will fill up every moment with useful, practicable ideas that will bring fresh energy and inspiration into your hoop practice. Here is the link to register:

    So we have 8 spots left for the first two days. Something that makes LA so unique is that we have had a LOT of walk-ins show up (without warning) the day of our past events. I just want to let everyone know that we will post here and on our website how many spots we have left so that those of you who aren't sure whether or not you can come, will know what's going on before you drive over. Obviously, if you buy a ticket your space is held.

    Thanks LA. I can't wait to grab a coffee at Cow's End in Venice and walk on the beach! If you can't make the workshop, but know of something that's going on that would be fun to attend, please let me know.

      Thanks Baxter! I'm recovering from foot surgery still, so I thought I'd at least wait until the weekend to see how I felt. If I can make it and there are spots left, I'll show up cash in hand.

      The weather here lately has definitely been nice, beach weather, unusually so, but be forewarned we are expecting a little rain here from Thursday through Sunday.

      This event on Saturday might be fun--Bootie LA! Maybe you can get free admission and drinks at least for a little performance? The organizer is a hoop-friendly guy from San Francisco, Andrian. losangeles.tribe.net/event/B...f4c710fb

    Sorry for all these posts, guys, but I'm about to head out West and I don't know how easy it will be on connect online.

    So we have six tickets left as on tonight, so if you're planning on coming you may want to go ahead and buy. Every time I come to LA to teach, I have had many walk-ins. If you want to wait until the day of (Saturday) then I would definitely check the website (hooppath.com) to see if we have sold all of our spaces. If there's room, please don't sweat walking in. I have met a lot of cool people who just showed up at that last minute.

    So thanks, LA, for this opportunity to come back to my home away from home. I taught my first (ever) workshop in LA, thanks to some Love from Anah, and I enjoy being among the badass hoopers I've met there.

    I'll chill on the updates unless something really major happens.
